SEEING GOD IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLES

According to Webster's Dictionary, Trouble--both noun & verb, is defined as a difficulty or problem. It produces anxiety, stress, or agitation--harassment, hassle, unpleasantness, public unrest and disorder. Sounds NEGA, right? My next question is--ARE YOU IN TROUBLE?

Some would say YES--A LOT! Halos everyday! Relate? We respond while quipping a famous dekada sitenta reaction: "wow hassle naman pare..." Some might say "Paminsan minsan." Most probably, there is no one who will answer "No". Then we would reply in disbelief- "Weeeh...?! Eh di wow..!!!"

When someone in fact answers "NO", matatawa ka. Butlater on, you will start to wonder why that person not in trouble. "Panong wala kang problema, aber...?" I firmly believe that troubles or shall I say in a more politically correct form-- Hardships are a part of life, and will always be a part of life. For without it, life would be boring. There will be no challenge. Ergo, you become stagnant.

I believe troubles have reasons. They are opportunities given by God to keep us abreast of what's happening around us--reality check kumbaga. They keep us moving forward, and one things for sure- Troubles were not placed there just for us make #hugot or do some #wallingselfie. (Haha!)

However, let me tell you that I do understand that we're only humans, and we succumb to emotions and emo flatulence. But part of the cure aside from seeing, feeling, understanding and accepting that there is trouble, either within you or within your bubble, family, community, etc (to which I congratulate you for because accepting means half the battle is already won), it is essential that we see God in the midst of trouble.

Why is that?

Simple, we should remain calm and objective as we apply the STAR Approach. This has been my adage whenever I encounter issues/opportunities both in my personal and career/sales life.

S situation (identification and acceptance)

T tasks (Godly- input objective)

A action (Godly- SMART approach)

R result (output objective)

By doing these steps, we already get prepared in achieving greatness in the eyes of God.

They also elicit maturity and discipline in managing our life and relationship with our loved ones, the community & our church as well as our faith and relationship with the Lord. Like what Pastor Lee Precilla, RisenLife Church-Team Harvesters Pastor mentioned:

"Let us not wait, but instead prepare for God's blessings and answers."

God makes you realize that through troubled times, He wants us to call on Him and JUST HIM. God will never leave us, for He is a God with an unending and unfailing love. So the next time you feel you are troubled, or realize that you are in the midst of trouble or you feel like you never want to get into trouble, call on Him. Again, be calm and objective and apply the STAR Approach as a solution with God as the inspiration.

Wrapping up, here's some take home Power Mnemonics. Enjoy!
